Charlton House was founded by David Snelling in 2019. As a dual resident of Hong Kong and the UK, David has experienced some of the currency, tax and investment challenges faced by internationally mobile professionals. David has also recognised the distinct lack of choice for people like him, who need financial advice across multiple jurisdictions.
These people often have complex financial lives, with assets in different geographies, family living in different countries and partners of a different nationality to them. Like most people, they want to enjoy their wealth now whilst preparing for retirement, wherever that may be.
So, Charlton House was established as a boutique wealth management firm to provide financial advice services to British and International residents in the APAC region. We’re a small but dedicated team of financial experts located in both Hong Kong and London.
With the team based in both locations, we’re able to work across time zones to deliver a seamless service to our clients. Regulated in both jurisdictions, we maintain high ethical standards and ensure that we do the right thing by our clients.
