Meet Tat, our Operations & Investments Manager
Tat Wong is our Operations & Investments Manager. He’s in charge of onboarding clients, providing administration support for advisers, liaising with third party providers, and ensuring the smooth running of our HR, payroll, procurement, and reporting processes.
Ever since Tat joined us as Office Administrator in 2017, we’ve supported him in his professional development. He arrived at Charlton House Wealth Management with no finance industry experience, but in the past three years, he’s achieved some important industry accolades.
Having successfully passed six exams – for the Licensing Examination for Securities and Futures Intermediaries and the Insurance Intermediaries Qualifying Examination – Tat is now a licensed representative with the Securities and Futures Commission and a licensed Technical Representative (Broker) with the Insurance Authority.
We’re currently supporting Tat’s latest ambition to complete a two-year part-time Master of Business Administration (MBA) at The University of Hong Kong. Studying while working can be challenging, but we’re making it easier by providing Tat with a flexible working arrangement.
Tat says: “Charlton House Wealth Management is providing flexible working hours and a flexible working environment to support my study during weekday classes. It’s rare for people to work flexibly in Hong Kong, so I am really grateful for the company’s full support.”
In September, Tat celebrated the completion of his first MBA course and his third anniversary of working at Charlton House Wealth Management.
Tat adds: “I have achieved an enormous amount during my three years with the firm, but I still manage to squeeze in sports such as volleyball, badminton, and basketball, trips abroad, and spending time with my friends, family, and cat Fay-Fay.”
